Privacy Policy

Draft, to be reviewed by our law firm before launch (Entwurf, zur Prüfung durch die Kanzlei). German version: Datenschutzerklärung.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Short version

We store your email address so we can tell you when KaizenVibe launches. No cookies, no tracking, no ads, nothing loaded from other companies’ servers. You can remove your address anytime with the link in every email.

Under 16? Please don’t sign up. If you are a parent and your child signed up, write to us and we’ll delete the address right away, no questions asked.

Who is responsible

The controller under the GDPR is the provider named in our imprint. You can reach us for any privacy question at the contact address given there.

What we store and why

Is it voluntary?

Yes. Nobody has to sign up. Without your email address we can’t put you on the waitlist or send you the launch email.

What we don’t store

No IP address, no device details, no location. To stop abuse we count sign-ups per network for a short time, in memory only, as a hashed (pseudonymised) value that is never written to disk and is gone after a restart. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the waitlist from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

No automated decisions

We make no automated decision about you and do no profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).

How long

Unconfirmed addresses are deleted after 7 days. Confirmed addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, and at the latest until 60 days after launch.

Who helps us

Hosting: netcup GmbH, Germany (privacy). Sending emails: Scaleway SAS, France (privacy). Both process data only on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Your data does not leave the EU.

Server logs

Our web server may keep technical logs with shortened IP addresses for at most 7 days to keep the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Security

The site runs only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Confirmation links are single-use and expire after 48 hours; we store only a hash of them, never the link itself.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and you can object to processing (Art. 15-21 GDPR). Where we rely on our legitimate interest (abuse protection, server logs), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You can complain to a data protection authority, for example: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de.

Changes

If KaizenVibe changes, this policy may change too. The current version is always on this page.
